Village Scarecrow Competition 2011

Last year 53 fantastic entries were judged and were on display in July. Once again the organisers are inviting villagers to exercise their imagination and enter into the spirit of the competition.

 

Entry forms will be available from Model Stores from June 3rd and must be returned to the collecting box in the shop by June 29th. All Scarecrows must be displayed by 9a.m. on July 1st for judging and photographs. Prizes of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Highly Commended will be awarded in Family and Business Class. A walking route and map of the scarecrow locations will be available in Model Stores on July 2nd. Winners will be announced and photos will be on display at the Village Garden Show on August 6th.
