We would like to extend a warm welcome to Abbotskerswell Twinning Association and very much hope that you will consider joining our ranks.

 

 

We meet on a monthly basis over a home cooked meal, which is normally followed by some form of entertainment.  Activities range from themed evenings to garden parties, barbecues, and Christmas and New Year’s Eve parties.

Each year we meet up with our French friends from Le Pre d’Auge and Les Monceaux.  In 2010 our French partners came to Abbotskerswell for a three day visit and in May 2011 we made a return visit to France. We are looking forward to their visit to us in May 2012.

It is not obligatory to take part in the French visits, and many Twinners belong to our Association simply to take part in the local monthly fundraising meetings.

You may attend two meetings before becoming a full Twinning member, for which the annual subscription is currently £10 per person.  The cost for each meeting is normally £8, though there may be an additional charge for ‘special’ events.
