2011 mid summer update

So many swooping swifts over the village, the kings of the skies with their amazing arc shaped wings.
I have also regularly been having a nuthatch and Great Spotted Woodpecker in the garden.. On the verge in Grange Rd there has also been a Green Woodpecker. All just brilliant to have from the windows of my home.

3rd April 2011. The first returning swallows seen in Vicarage Road. Has anyone seen any earlier?
