Abbotskerswell Twinning Association was established in 1990 by a group of local residents and has the following aims and objectives:

1. To promote and foster friendship and understanding between our twinned communities in England and France, and to maintain links with other groups and associations involved with twinning activities.

2. To encourage visits by individuals and groups to and from our twinned communities.

3. To develop personal contacts to broaden the mutual understanding of cultural, recreational and commercial activities between all communities.

4. To organise fund-raising activities to support the aims of the association.
