OUR VILLAGE IS UNDER THREAT. The very essence of what makes Abbotskerswell special is being threatened by outline proposals to built 2000 homes right up to our boundary. Bearing in mind that Abbotskerswell is just 800 homes this has enormous implications for the village's integral privateness. But how do we respond to the basic need of more homes including more affordable homes? How will we keep our children in the area if there are no homes for them? Will this make us just another suburb of Newton Abbot?
