Councillor : Susan TAVERNER
Originally from London, I moved to Devon in 1969 and later Zambia returning to the UK in 1983. My husband Peter, son Ralph and I moved to Abbotskerswell in 1996 - we don't intend to move again as we like it here very much!
I care about preserving our lovely village and its environment and am pleased to have the opportunity by being a Parish Councillor to work to this
end. I am a member of the Planning sub-committee.
Prior to being elected a Parish Councillor in 2003 I was the Parish Clerk from 1998 to 2002.
Recently retired from my job as Deputy Clerk at Newton Abbot Town Council, I can devote more time to the work of the Parish Council.
