Local Development Plan

Teignbridge Council have recently released proposals for the Southern Area Option (Wolborough) in relation to TDC's Core Strategy plans and the Kingskerswell Bypass (aka South Devon Link Road). The plans show infill development areas south of Newton Abbot towards Abbotskerswell, including residential development.

These plans are available via a browser at http://www.teignbridge.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=15133. The Parish Council is seeking further information on the options for the plans in order to understand the impact and/or benefits to Abbotskerswell Parish. The Parish Council will be holding a meeting open to the public to provide information on the Core Strategy Southern Option and an opportunity for Parishioners to raise questions and provide their feedback. The meeting will be held on 18th January 2012 at the Village Hall, and we hope as many of you as possible will attend.
