The Flower Festival is being held over the weekend 15 - 17 September inclusive, at the Church, on the subject of Creation.
It will be linked in to Harvest Festival which will be held the same Sunday.
Opening hours 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday. 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sunday.
There will be musical interludes all day long in the form of piano, organ, guitar and violin recitals. A recorder group will also be appearing, and a small group will sing. At all other times there will be background CDs playing.
The musical interludes are not designed to be formal, in that you do not have to sit down and listen, but just to give some atmosphere to the church while visitors wander round enjoying the flowers. Programmes will be available and donations encouraged
Coffee, lunches and teas will be available in Church House at appropriate times
We will have a range of sponsors from the area who will be recognised in the programme.
We also have donations coming in from individuals.
We would obviously like to encourage as many of both as possible to make the event both memorable and a viable programme - we need your support.
Also - to raise funds to put on the Festival there is:
- a coffee morning on 17 June at Fairfield, Vicarage Road 10.00 a.m - 12 noon; and
- a Coffee evening planned for 25 July - more on this later, but watch this page.
Everyone welcome to attend both events.
