THE COUNTY OF DEVON
C161 - THE ROAD FROM WHIDDON CROSS TO MADDACOMBE
CROSS [WHIDDON ROAD], ABBOTSKERSWELL
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL hereby give NOTICE that:
From MONDAY 20 SEPTEMBER 2010
To FRIDAY 24 SEPTEMBER 2010
both dates inclusive, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads
except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to those length of roads.
Roads affected -
C161 - THE ROAD FROM WHIDDON CROSS TO MADDACOMBE CROSS [WHIDDON
ROAD], ABBOTSKERSWELL, FROM MADDACOMBE CROSS TO THE JUNCTION OF
WHIDDON ROAD
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via -
ROAD FROM GREATOAK CROSS TO MADDACOMBE CROSS - ROAD FROM
GREATOAK CROSS TO WHIDDON CROSS (AND VICE VERSA)
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable -

Road closure at Whiddon Road, Stoneycombe Devon TQ12 5LG on 20/09/2010 until 24/09/2010 for 5 days between the hours of 0930 and 1530.

The work is on behalf of BT Openreach, and they will be working to renew overhead cable to restore service.
