We would like to extend a warm welcome to Abbotskerswell Twinning Association and very much hope that you will consider joining our ranks.
We meet on a monthly basis over a home cooked meal, which is normally followed by some form of entertainment. Activities range from themed evenings to garden parties, barbecues, and Christmas and New Year’s Eve parties.
Each year we meet up with our French friends from Le Pre d’Auge and Les Monceaux. In 2010 our French partners came to Abbotskerswell for a three day visit and in April/May 2011 we will make a return visit to France. It is not obligatory to take part in the French visits, and many Twinners belong to our Association simply to take part in the local monthly fundraising meetings.
You may attend two meetings before becoming a full Twinning member, for which the annual subscription is currently £10 per person. The cost for each meeting is normally £8, though there may be an additional charge for ‘special’ events.
We very much hope that you join us sometime in the near future and in the meantime, we would like especially to invite you to our evening event on Saturday the 12th March 2011 at Church House.
