We have a thriving cricket club which plays well above the level that you would imagine for a village the size of Abbotskerswell.

There is always a huge welcome for new players, supporters and sponsors. You are especially welcome as a non playing member of the club if all you want is a pint of beer and a casual afternoon watching the game.

Abbotskerswell Cricket Club is situated off the main road between Newton Abbot and Totnes (A381). As you leave Newton Abbot on the A381, you go straight over Ogwell Roundabout, past the turnings to Abbotskerswell on your left, and just as you round the sharp right hand corner at Ruby Farm, the Cricket Club is on your righthandside.

New players are always welcome at practice nights which are as follows;

Tuesday nights; Adults from 18:00

Friday nights;    Colts U11 and U13 17:00 to 18:30

Colts U15 and U17 18:00 to 20:00

The club has adopted the ECB Safe Hands Policy for safeguarding children. It has also adopted and adheres to the ECB Cricket Equality Policy. Membership of the club is deemed to be acceptance of both these policies. Membership of the club is also deemed to be acceptance of the club's code of conduct and where approprirate the club's junior code of conduct.
